What is a CSA

Thank you for your interest in our CSA program. We have been selling our produce at the Farmers Markets in Vancouver since 2007.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), is a relationship of commitment and support between farmers and members. CSA members receive a weekly share of the highest quality organically-grown produce during the local growing season. In return for an a membership fee to help cover the production costs of the farm.
Simply said: putting a face to the people who grow your food and the land it is grown on. By joining our CSA you truly become a member of our farm family. CSA members invest before the growing season and collect a weekly share of the harvest. Your investment allows your farmers to buy all the seeds, equipment, amendments, and other supplies we need to grow the healthiest highest quality produce possible.
Through the CSA farmers and growers are guaranteed a reliable market for a diverse selection of crops. This marks a stark contrast to the global industrial food system, where growers often struggle to find a market for their produce.

Every year some things will do better than others: this is the inevitable nature of farming. As partners in this farming endeavor CSA members and farmers share the risk and rewards inherent with living closely with nature! Happily, we grow a wide variety of things, meaning your share will be diverse and bountiful no matter what the weather throws at us.

In Vancouver we will have our market share CSA available.
