What Vegetables and Herbs Are Grown on the Farm?

We grow a wide variety of delicious vegetables  at the farm. Lots of variety keeps your shares interesting over the season. Many crops are grown in succession plantings so we have a steady supply of certain favorites like lettuces and root crops. Other vegetables like the amazing turnips are grown only while it is cool in the spring and fall when their flavor and texture are at their peak. Every growing season is unique where some crops thrive while others prefer a more ideal weather situation. Keeping all this in mind, here is the List of Vegetables :

  • Bok Choy

  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Cabbage
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Celeriac
  • Cucumber
  • Greens (salad and cooking): Arugula ; Endive; French Sorrel; Kale; ; Spinach; Swiss Chard; Tatsoi , Bok Choy
  • Ginger
  • Herbs: Basil;  Cilantro; Parsley
  • Kohlrabi
  • Leeks
  • Lettuce
  • Onions – green onions and full size storage type
  • Peas – sugar snap peas

Our Strawberries start in June and go into the Summer. Depending on the spring in July the raspberries will start, follow with the blueberries.

In the winter we will bring greens, salad mixes to the market.

Sprouts, our 12 different varieties! are a staple in our stall.
